Ezekiel 36:12-14 NASB

^12'Yes, I will cause men-My people Israel-to walk on you and possess you, so that you will become their inheritance and never again bereave them of children.'

¹³"Thus says the Lord God, 'Because they say to you, "You are a devourer of men and have bereaved your nation of children,"

¹⁴therefore, you will no longer devour men, and bereave your nation of children,' declares the Lord God.

The foster care facility is considered to be one of our emergency needs. Where there is alcohol and substance abuse, there are innocent victims. Every time a parent gets arrested, there are children who need a place to stay and be cared for. On our reservation, there is a great need for foster care. Usually, if a child can't get to a foster care facility, he or she will be given over to family members who are already taking care of numerous children. They are in situations where they are having trouble providing for the needs of every child. There are too many grandparents who are being overloaded with children as young as newborns and just don't have the energy to keep up with one child, let alone three or four.

This is where we can help. We are in the process of constructing a 25 bed facility to help fill the gap in care. This facility will give the child a safe, theraputic and stable temporary home while their parents are in the process of healing themselves.
